David Nahas, President
David Nahas joined the board in July 2002. Mr. Nahas is the principal
partner of Veloce Partners, Inc., an affordable housing and finance
an advisory firm founded in 2002. He
was responsible for structuring tax-exempt bond financing transactions
on behalf of housing developers and brings with him many years of experience
and invaluable knowledge in affordable housing and finance.
Larry H. Fugal, Vice President
Mr. Fugal has been involved in the construction industry throughout his entire career with Construction, Program and Project Management work in disaster recovery of the Northridge Earthquake, as a Program Operations Manager with the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (OES). He has also consulted in Project and Program Management for public agencies in construction and modernization
Matthew Haas, Treasurer
With 12 years of experience in affordable real estate development, finance and management across the United States, Mr. Haas worked in acquisitions for one of the nation’s top syndicators of Low Income Housing Tax Credit, the National Equity Fund.

Jack H. Plimpton, EdD.
Founder and Secretary
As Founder and Secretary of Project New Hope
Dr. Plimpton is also the Executive Director of the Bishop's Commission on HIV/AIDS
Ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. Mr. Plimpton founded
Project New Hope in 1989 and led the organization through incorporation
in 1990.
Sharon O’Rourke
A board member since October 1998, Ms. O’Rourke
is the Westside Public Affairs Manager for The Gas Company and
brings outstanding leadership skills and public affairs experience to
assist
with board growth.
Tom Spratt
Joined the board in October 1999, Mr. Spratt is Senior Vice President
with U.S. Trust Company of California, and brings many years of finance,
loan underwriting and trust management experience to the Board.
George Marks Jr., M.D.
As a founding member of the PNH board and
an active board member since 1991, Dr. Marks has also chaired
the Bishop's Commission on AIDS Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese,
and practices
cardiology at King/Drew Medical Center. |
